Do you need a visa for Moldova? Check your country

When you do not need an invitation

• a minor whose foreign parent has a Moldovan residence permit (or stateless person’s ID) valid at least 90 days from the date of the visa;
• people applying for a transit visa or an airport transit visa, under the conditions of the law;
• citizens of states with which Moldova has treaties on this;
• a minor whose foreign parent is married to a Moldovan citizen;
• people holding a valid visa (not a transit visa) or residence permit from the EU, the Schengen area, the UK, the USA or Canada;
• stateless people who prove they were born in Moldova or the Moldavian SSR;
• foreigners invited by the Government or central authorities;
• holders of diplomatic and service passports;
• the spouse, children and parents of a foreigner with international protection;
• honorary consuls of Moldova.
