Buying or selling a home in Moldova: what to check and register

When you buy or sell a home in Moldova, the official record is the Register of Immovable Property. You check it before the deal and update it after. Each step below links to the full guide.

Good to know

  • Who this is for: buyers, sellers and heirs of a home in Moldova, including foreign owners.
  • The property extract shows who owns the property and which rights and restrictions are registered on it.
  • A notary can apply online for the owner. The owner can also apply at a counter.
