Ask a questionThe service allows you to obtain official information about a person's criminal or minor-offence record, or confirmation that there is none. The document can be issued digitally or on paper and is valid throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova and abroad.
Through the online platform, you can submit the application, follow its status and, if needed, request the apostille of the document.
Types of records available in the Republic of Moldova:
- Criminal record certificate (can be obtained in Romanian, English, Russian or any official language of the member states of the European Union)
- Detailed record (can be obtained in Romanian and Russian)
- General minor-offences record (can be obtained in Romanian)
- Detailed minor-offences record (can be obtained in Romanian)
- Minor-offences record for the loss of registration plates (can be obtained in Romanian)
- Minor-offences record for the loss of the vehicle technical passport (can be obtained in Romanian)

How to apply
- Submit the application
If you hold an IDNP personal identification number, the application can be submitted online by using the Apply online button.
If you do not hold an IDNP, you can go directly to the institution's counters in Chișinău, at 3A Iacob Hîncu Street.
Or find the nearest Diplomatic Mission or Consular Office to submit the application.
- Pay the fee
The service is paid online, exclusively through the electronic payment service MPay.
- Check the status of the requested service
You can find out the current status of your application by accessing the service and entering the order number.
- Get the certificate
The certificate can be obtained:
- online, by downloading the document from your personal account (if you hold an electronic signature);
- delivered to your home, anywhere in the world, through the MDelivery service;
- at the institution's counters: Chișinău, 3A Iacob Hîncu Street;
- at the territorial police inspectorates.
- Check the authenticity of the record
Check the authenticity of the result of the public service by downloading the digital version of the document.

Proof of authorisation – a power of attorney or an MPower authorisation
