Ask a questionAn apostille is a form of legalisation of documents that is needed by people who want to present them on the territory of a foreign state. An apostille is applied only to official documents drawn up on the territory of the Republic of Moldova that are to produce legal effects on the territory of a state that is a party to the Convention. The applicant may be the holder of the official document or the person who holds it and requests its apostille. Documents to be apostilled can be submitted both online with an electronic signature and in person.

How to apply
- Submitting the application and the documents for apostille
The application can be submitted:
- online, using the Apply online button;
- at the ADJAJ office, at 82 31 August 1989 Street, Chișinău, by online appointment, available here.
- Paying for the service
Apostille services are paid:
- through the Government Electronic Payment Service MPay;
- at a bank;
- at post offices.
The bank account needed for payment will be issued at the counter, immediately after the application is submitted.
Attention: payment is mandatory on the day the application is submitted, because the processing time starts from the moment of payment, not from the moment of submission.
- Issuing the apostilled official document
Apostilled documents are issued in the following ways:
- online, available in EVO Cabinet. This option is available only to people who submitted the application in electronic form.
- in person, at the ADJAJ office, at 82 31 August 1989 Street, Chișinău.
