Ask a questionA visa is the authorisation that allows its holder to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova and to stay on it for a specified period, in line with the purpose for which it was granted. Under the law, holding a visa does not automatically give the right to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Border police officers require every foreign national to prove that they meet the conditions for entry and stay in the Republic of Moldova; otherwise, the foreign national may be refused entry, even if they hold a valid visa.
