Good to know
- The allowance is paid monthly until the child is 2. It is set automatically, from the data in the State Population Register: you do not apply to the territorial social insurance office or through e-Cerere.
- It goes to the mother; if she has died or does not meet the conditions, to the child's legal representative.
- The data needed must be in the state information resources and recorded in the CNAS system within 12 months of the birth. If they were recorded later, but no later than 2 years after the birth, the allowance is set retroactively, for at most 12 months before the date of registration.
- It is decided within 30 days of the registration in the CNAS information system.
- If the child is adopted or placed in guardianship, you apply at the territorial social insurance office.
